Greetings I am Henri-Dunant Chikuru

I build physical and digital AI infrastructure for Africa's critical healthcare and environmental systems.

I've been designing and building AI systems for over six years and scaling technology ventures for the past two.

What I'm building

At Safirio, we're building AI infrastructure for Africa's environmental systems. Through Afrisens, we're building an autonomous physical intelligence platform that deploys sensor networks across critical infrastructure to detect, analyze, and act on environmental and operational threats in real time, producing cryptographically signed, legally defensible evidence.

At Helion, we're reimagining healthcare for Africa's next 2.5 billion — deploying advanced AI to detect, predict, and prescribe, backed by physical infrastructure: medical-grade wearables, autonomous drones, and a unified cloud platform built to reach patients before a crisis reaches them.

Beyond the ventures

I co-founded Fobeworld, an organization in Uganda and DRC using football and storytelling to help young people, especially girls, thrive through education, wellness, and resilience. I also volunteer with Anamnesis.WESA, a non-profit organization providing access to clean water and healthcare facilities in underserved communities across Kenya, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. I believe deeply in the missions of both organizations.

I love reading books. I'm a reggae obsessive. I'm a fan of ultra marathons and trekking. I make adventure videos on YouTube documenting my explorations, and I'm always planning the next expedition.
